MIllenkko was the last of a mystical group known as the Dark Carnival. They lived in secrecy, never revealing to the world their presence or goals, ever working for the day they would decend upon Krynn and claim it's wonders as their own. Alas, they were not successful in their dreams, for the Wicked Clowns were mysteriously annihilated by an unknown force beyond the knowledge of mortals. What exactly happened on the day of the their extinction will remain a secret throughout time, for Millenkko, the one survivor, had vowed never to relive the horrid event.
Millenkko was found deep in the underground of the Fyzian Village by the great hero Lady Cantara Savienne. He was mortally wounded and plagued with hysteria. How the dark creatues who lurked in the caverns did not find and destroy him was lost upon Millenkko, but Cantara saw it as fate that they should meet. She called upon the great healing powers of Paladine to bring him back from his distress and brought him to the city of Palanthas with her. Here she cared for him and nurtured him back to health.
Millenkko, having never had exposure to strangers outside of his now extinct family, found himself growing to love his dear savior as a son loves his mother. This attachment was present in Cantara as well, and she soon adopted the young elf as her son. She introduced him to her family, the Renshai, and everyone took kindly to him very quickly.
